Some of the different types of hitches include fixed drawbars, swinging drawbars, two-point hitches, and three-point hitches.
Drawbars are made to safely pull an implement or load on wheels. Your drawbar should be set no more than 13 to 17 inches off the ground. Hitching a load above this height can cause a rear overturn, especially pulling uphill.
Two and three point hitches are made to raise and carry an implement or load. Lifting heavy implements may require additional front-end weights to maintain proper balance and the tractor's center of gravity.
