Tractors are designed to pull and power farm equipment such as no-till planters, manure spreaders, hay balers, and grain wagons.  Trailing equipment is attached to the tractor at the drawbar with a hitch pin.  The hitch pin should be designed so that it is secured in place with a spring clip, cotter pin, or other device.
