Volunteer for military kids
4-H is for military kids!
Being a kid can be tough. Being one of the 19,541 youth in Indiana with a parent in the military can be even tougher. Operation: Military Kids brings together community resources to support Indiana’s military youth as their loved ones deploy and return home from serving our country.
Whether it’s day camps, interactive workshops, Yellow Ribbon Events, and more, Indiana OMK connects military youth to build relationships and gain skills to navigate life as a military child. As a project of the Indiana 4-H Program, we are able to reach youth in every county of Indiana to provide opportunities for military youth and families to connect and learn about resources in their community.
The Bugle is Indiana OMK's informational newsletter. It is published on a quarterly basis with special issues to announce new events.

The Indiana Operation: Military Kids partnership is a shared initiative of the US Army Child, Youth & School (CYS) Services and funded by the Army National Guard and Army Reserve in collaboration with Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service.
