Mini 4-H manuals are activity-based, theme units specifically designed for children of beginning school age. The variety of hands-on learning activities in each manual are developmentally appropriate, user friendly, and fun to do. Activities provide practice for mastery of specific skills and many of the activities can be adapted to accommodate a range of ability levels. Units are flexible and can be used in their entirety or individual activities can be selected to emphasize specific skills. The units can be used with individual children, however the benefits are maximized when the project activities are used in a group of two or more children. Objectives:
