What better way for your students to learn science and math, than to experience them? Students will have fun participating in the hands-on experiences of making model airplanes, rockets, and helicopters; building a life-size simulated space station; experimenting and observing gravity and other forces that affect us, as they experience life as an astronaut. The curriculum is divided into seven major sections: weather, history of flight, principles of flight, living in space, careers, solar system and numbers and language.

Objectives:

  • To improve science and math literacy skills.
  • To develop a more positive attitude toward science, math and school in general.
