4-H in the Classroom

Windowsill Garden Previous list

Do you really need a large area to grow plants or even vegetable producing plants? Not really, if you use the Windowsill Garden approach. This fascinating and fun curriculum enables students to plant seeds and watch their growth in a small plastic greenhouse. It is easy and takes only a small amount of space. This activity is carried out over a period of time, but only takes a small part of each day. It is also designed so students can have a hands-on experience and something to take home at completion.
