GOAL: To increase the number and the quality of sexual violence prevention

education in under-served and under-represented communities in Indiana.

CARe's 9th Annual Multicultural Gathering will be held May 7, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel, Indiana.

"CARe's 8th Multicultural Gathering "Mobilizing Under-Served Communities to Prevent Sexual Violence" was held May 9, 2007 at Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel, Indiana.

At this Gathering, CARe presented innovative and interactive workshops on all aspects

of sexual violence prevention with a specific focus on grassroots community mobilization

in an effort to end sexual violence. Workshop topics addressed prevention in under-

served and under-represented communities in a culturally competent approach to

traditionally underserved populations.
