This event, held once a year, has five objectives: 1. Create an incentive program to aid in the retention of Indiana 4-H members in grades 8-12. 2. Establish significant scholarship opportunities to 4-H'ers in areas of 4-H program accomplishment. 3. Provide leadership/achievement role models for younger 4-H members. 4. Create a focal point for the Indiana 4-H Foundation and the Indiana 4-H program. 5. Establishment of a state-wide junior leader event which will bring focus to the junior leader program, therefore: - strengthening local, county, area and state 4-H programs and, empowering youth for community action. The program is sponsored by the Indiana 4-H Foundation and the Indiana Soybean Alliance. Included in the program is a keynote speaker, two breakout leadership sessions, and a luncheon to recognize the Accomplishment Scholarship recipients.
